Who I am
My name is Wang Yu (Chinese:王瑜, Pronunciation: "Wawng Yoo") and I am now a post-doctoral researcher in Dr. Santhi Ganesh 's lab in the Department of Internal Medicine, University of Michigan Medical School. I gained my bachelor degree in biology from Wuhan University and received my PhD degree on cancer genome in Beijing Institute of Genomics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (BIG-CAS). My PhD mentor is Dr. Chung-I Wu, a famous evolutionary biologist. Prior to my current training, I have been studying or working in BGI-Shenzhen (supervised by Dr. Guojie Zhang), BIG-CAS (supervised by Chung-I Wu), and UM (supervised by Dr. Jun Li).
